Talent Health Club budtenders are among the most respected in the state of Oregon. We pride ourselves on educating our customers to utilize cannabis for wellness and we expect our staff to have an attitude that communicates an eagerness to truly help our customers receive the best experience possible. Our budtenders always love to learn more and have the humility to know there is always more to learn, especially in such a new and exciting industry.
Because the industry is so fresh, the job is dynamic. You must be self-motivated, adaptable, and industrious in order to keep up with all of the changes and predict what needs to be done so things can always be flowing smoothly. Job descriptions change on a daily basis.
- Retail and restaurant/serving/bar experience are a plus.
- You’ll be required to obtain a Marijuana Worker’s Permit via the marijuana.oregon.gov website in order to legally work in the cannabis industry in Oregon.
Duties include:
-Dedication to patients/customers: caring for patients, their caregivers, and customers in need is our priority here at THC! We are S. Oregon’s most trusted dispensary after all!
-Greeting and checking in visitors (patients, caregivers, retail customers, vendors, press, etc.)
-Staying compliant according to Oregon state law.
-Know our products: we have the tastiest variety in town and a huge selection of recreationally available products that are always changing. Our budtenders need to know the producers and processors, from how it’s grown and processed to what the effects are like. It really helps if you’re already familiar with some of our products as our selection is so diverse, so feel free to stop into the most exciting dispensary S. Oregon has to offer!
-Retail basics: sales, managing inventory, clear communication, GREAT customer service skills, the passion for helping people and making the world a better place.
-Updating our menus and store displays with our latest products. Experience with Adobe Illustrator, other design/aesthetic and social media is helpful! We do a lot of social media work here at THC and we like to keep a clean, classy and professional marketing presence.
-Offering Cannabis knowledge and expertise to everyone that comes in. Welcome people to the Club! We are THE resource for top quality knowledge and products in the Valley.
-Building a positive Cannabis culture and a new paradigm for Cannabis in Oregon! This industry is still young, and we are shaping it from the ground floor.
